Professional rodeo returns to Conway - Log Cabin Democrat

Memorial Day weekend 2008 marked the first time a professional rodeo has ever been in Central Arkansas. This first time rodeo was held at the Don Owen Sports Complex in Conway, May 23 and 24, 2008. The event was a huge success and the rodeo committee has contracted Wild Card Rodeo Co. to furnish the livestock again for 2009.

The dates for this year's PRCA Rodeo are May 22 and 23. Tom Reeves, 2001 World Champion Saddle Bronc Rider and Cowboy Hall of Fame Inductee brought some of the rankest livestock these rodeo fans have ever seen. Top cowboys and cowgirls from all over the United States came to Conway to vie for large payoffs provided in part from the gracious sponsors surrounding Conway. "We were much honored to have these contestants come to Conway; five of the contestants went on from Conway to make it to the National Finals in Las Vegas. J.W. Harris came from fourth to win the world title in the Bull Riding Event," Committee Chair, Nikki Murdock commented.

What would one expect to pay for a new or good condition livestock trailer for hauling half dozen goats?

Where would be a good source to find such a thing? Don't need anything longer than 11 or 12 feet. Already saw the two for sale on eBay. I live in Arkansas.

I'd say around $3,000, with tires, not much more than that.
